Painici super rapide cu branza si usturoi/Garlic and cheese buns

English translation

Spun super rapide, deoarece prepararea nu dureaza mai mult de 5-6 minute. Nu este nevoie de drojdie si nici de framantare. Nu trebuie de cat sa amesteci toate ingredientele si apoi sa iei cu lingura si sa pui in tava. Mai simplu de atat nici nu cred ca se putea.

La aceste painici se foloseste multa branza; aproape aceeasi cantitate cu cea de faina. Ca si tip de branza, folositi unul mai uscat. Compozitia finala a aluatului, desi moale, nu trebuie sa fie lipicioasa. Daca, totusi, folositi o branza ceva mai moale, mai adaugati putina faina, pana ajungeti la compozitia corecta (puteti vedea in reteta in video).

Ingrediente (circa 20 painici):

  • 500 g faina 000
  • 300 g unt topit
  • 500 ml lapte integral
  • 460 g branza rasa
  • 2 lingurite usturoi granule
  • 1 lingurita zahar
  • 2 pliculete (30g) praf de copt
  • 3 lingurite sare
  • 1/3 lingurite rozmarin

Preparare

Se aprinde cuptorul la 220°C/treapta 7. Intr-un bol incapator se amesteca faina, zaharul, praful de copt, praful de usturoi, rozmarinul si sarea.

Separat se amesteca laptele si untul topit, apoi se toarna peste ingredientele uscate. Se amesteca bine cu ajutorul unui tel. Se adauga branza rasa si se incorporeaza cu o lingura de lemn sau cu o spatula.

Se ia cate o lingura din compozitie si se pune in tava tapetata cu hartie de copt. Se dau la cuptorul incins si se coc 10-12 minute. Se pastreaza bine pana la 3 zile, tinute in pungi de hartie.


Super fast Garlic and cheese buns

I said super fast because you only need about 5 minutes to make these buns (plus 10-12 min.of cooking time). All you have to do is mix the ingredients, all together and spoon the dough into the baking sheet. No yeast, no kneading. Couldn’t be more simple than this.

A lot of cheese is used for these buns; almost the same amount as the flour. As for type of cheese, use a drier one, like parmesan. The final composition of the dough, although soft, should not be sticky. If, however, you use a slightly softer cheese, add a little more flour, until you reach the right texture (you can see in the video recipe).

Ingredients (about 20 buns):

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups melted butter
  • 17,6 oz whole milk
  • 3 7/10 cups grated cheese
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp rosemary

Directions

Preheat the oven at 425F/gas mark 7. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, farlic powder, rosemary and salt.

In a separate bowl combine milk and melted butter, then add it to the dry ingredients. Whisk until combined. Add in the grated cheese and incorporate it with a spatula.

Take spoonful of dough and place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. They last up to three days kept in paper bags.
