English translation

Ingrediente (8 chifle):

  • 500 g faina 000
  • 5 g drojdie uscata/15g drojdie proaspata
  • 50 ml ulei
  • 80 ml apa calda
  • 120 ml lapte cald
  • 100 g zahar
  • 1 pliculet (8g) zahar vanilat
  • 2 oua (1 galbenus este pt.uns)
  • 90 g picaturi de ciocolata

Preparare

Chocolate chips buns

I just love bakery products. And I also really like chocolate. These are milk buns, which, if you’ve ever made or eaten, you know they’re very soft. And the combination between milk buns and chocolate couldn’t be more right.

With these quantities you’ll get 8 large buns. If you want, you can make them smaller, but, in this case, decrease the baking time by 3-5 minutes. If you like milk buns, also try these Burger buns.

Ingredients (8 large buns):

  • 4 cups 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 2/3 tsp dry yeast/5 tsp fresh yeast
  • 1/5 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 eggs (1 egg yolk is for brushing)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions

In a large bowl, mix the yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar and the warm water. If you use fresh yeast, set aside for 10 minutes. Add the milk, oil, sugar, one whole egg and 1 egg white. Combine, then gradually add the sifted flour. Knead into the bowl until the dough comes together, then incorporate the chocolate chips.

Move the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for another 2-3 minutes. Place in the greased bowl, cover and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

Cut into 8 equal pieces and shape into balls. Place them in a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake then at 350F/gas mark 4, preheated for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
